A Formal Studio Anniversary Session | The Bates

Taylor and Courtney’s formal studio anniversary session was what dreams are made of. These two showed up dressed to make a statement! Courtney showed up in the most stunning ivory and champagne wedding dress with a floral lace overlay. Her bouquet by Cheeky Blooms complimented her dress perfectly. Bella Bridal Beauty did an incredible job on her hair and make up. Taylor sported a sharp black and white tux with a satin hem and a simple white pocket square.

The first time I met Courtney was right around a year ago. She reached out to me to book a spring mini session. Her and Taylor showed up and rocked it in front of my camera! Their chemistry is so natural and the way Taylor can get Courtney to smile is unreal. You can then see Courtney brings out the goofiness in Taylor, which I absolutely adore. These two are totally made for each other and it is always such a treat having them in front of my camera!

Due to their anniversary session being in the middle of summer, Courtney trusted in me to capture their session inside. We both agreed we did not want to be melting in the 110 degree weather slated for that day. She settled for this simple yet beautiful studio space. It gave us a wide variety of options for backgrounds and gave her gallery a beautiful variety.
