A Summer Sunset Maternity Session | The Shepardson Family

This summer sunset maternity session with the Shepardson family was straight out of a dream. Glowy light, a beautiful mama, a playful dad, and fun loving twin boys. Could you ask for anything more? This sweet family braved the Arizona desert summer with me for these memories and it was completely worth it, even shooting at 34 weeks pregnant. Cossette and I were only due a few weeks apart from each other and this was so fun to document this exciting chapter for them. They weren’t able to have maternity photos with the twins, so documenting this maternity session for their daughter was truly a dream come true. Cossette wore the most darling Nothing Fits But maternity dress. It was so delicate and the perfect girly touch to her maternity session. We played, ran around, and snuggled. It was truly the best day ever!

Many of my inquires for maternity sessions ask me when the best time to schedule their session is. Let me tell you! I suggest booking your maternity session with me anywhere from 28-32 weeks pregnant. If this is your first baby, you may wait till closer to 32 weeks so your sweet bump is round and present. If this is your second or third baby, you may want to shoot closer to 28 weeks. Our bumps always tend to appear sooner the second time around. Ha! But it is never too early to book your maternity session with me. You can inquire as early as finding out you’re expecting! I only take on a limited number of sessions per month, so don’t wait too long to reach out!
