A Sweet Desert Botanical Gardens Engagement Session | Julie & Josh

Where do I start with Julie and Josh and their sweet Desert Botanical Gardens Engagement Session?! Julie is a teacher, which if anyone knows me knows I hold teachers close to my heart. I was a third grade teacher before becoming a photographer full time and staying home with our son. I know the work of heart that goes into teaching and I adore my sweet brides who have that kind loving heart to serve in that way.

Julie and Josh showed up for their engagement session ready to have a good time! Within five minutes Josh had me laughing and Julie just giggled and smiled at him in a way that showed me just how much she was in love with him. We walked around the gardens searching for the perfect spots to capture their portraits.

By the end of their session, the sun was setting and we ended their session in the cactus garden (scroll down for some of my favorite images from their session!) Their outfits, the cuddles, the sunset. Everything came together to make their images so incredibly romantic. As we were leaving they had invited me for a drink, I didn’t want to interrupt date night, but Julie and Josh let’s grab one soon!

I cannot wait for their Venue at The Grove wedding with Riding Tandem this Fall!
