A Joyful Scottsdale Engagement Party at Hotel Valley Ho | Ayah & Lythe

Talk about a joyful day! Can we do this all over again!? Ayah and Lythe’s Scottsdale engagement party at Hotel Valley Ho was one for the books! Ayah’s vision was perfectly executed by The Posh Social. She envisioned a boho cocktail hour followed by a modern black and white dinner affair. Two very different styles that complimented each other beautifully with the creative eye of Brittney with Posh Social.

The day began with capturing Ayah’s stunning engagement ring and other special details. Then we moved into one of my favorite parts of the day, their first look! Ayah and Lythe were equally excited to see one another. The excitement and nerves were high as Lythe waited for Ayah to arrive behind him, tapping him on his shoulder. His reaction was everything!! Stunned by her blue dress and beauty, his jaw dropped! But can you blame him? Mine did too when I arrived to capture her details. She was simply stunning! We then spent time with just the two of them, walking around the hotel property, capturing couples portraits! One of the many benefits of having a first look!! More time together capturing couples portraits!

Details were super important to Ayah to be captured so we moved to the rooftop to shoot cocktail hour details and the views just can’t be beat. You get a clear view of Scottsdale and it’s so fun to host your guests here, especially if they are from out of town. We spent some time hanging out with their guests, and then the sunset.. Oh my goodness! The sunset really showed off for Ayah and Lythe, the cotton candy skies of my dreams.

Their guests than moved downstairs into the ballroom that was transformed in the perfect classic setting for Ayah and Lythe’s candlelit dinner. They had the sweetest grand entrance followed by a first dance and then the party started! The dancing did not stop and it was such a fun reception to capture. The energy was contagious and we were all dancing with them having the time of our lives.

I feel so lucky to have been a part of Ayah and Lythe’s engagement party. Capturing their love for one another, their family and friends celebrating them, and all the special details. It was a dream come true. Thank you Ayah and Lythe for trusting in me to capture this special day. Wishing you two all the love and happiness in the world!
