A Golden Sunrise Maternity Session | The Giannini Family

I am not a morning person but this golden sunrise maternity session for the Giannini family might have made me one! (I mean probably not, but it was one thousand perfect worth it!) I really do love my sleep!

I am working on shifting my family portraits to capturing more emotion, love, and the connection between everyone. It fuels the fire inside of me. It is what I strive for during my own family photo session, because I know that is what I am going to want to look back on when my son is driving off to college. Am I right mamas?

Whenever we go through photographs to reminisce on memories, we don’t go for the one with everyone smiling at the camera. We look for and are drawn to the images that have emotion, or that tell a story. Your sons big smile from giggling so hard, the silly faces your daughter makes, their little toes running through the sand, and those sweet cuddles as they rest their head on your shoulder. Their safe place.

I am obsessed with capturing those moments. I am working reframing how I capture families. I am working on preparing my clients and guiding them through these moments so they can be captured. It takes courage to make shifts in your business. I am working on being courageous and making these changes. I am so ready for this so you too can have photographs like these to look back on. So you can remember your sweet family in the most authentic way. I know I have a ways to go, but thank you for being on this journey with me.
